Dharma Master Jian Hu’s life encompasses both Eastern and Western cultures. Coming to the United States while he was a teenager, he graduated from University of California, San Diego with a doctorate in Computer Science. A tireless teacher with a sense of humor, he has taught Zen meditation and Buddhism across America. His students admire his wisdom, patience and devotion. He has also helped found 6 other Zen Centers in the U.S., including the Chung Tai Zen Center of Sunnyvale, in the heart of the Silicon Valley in California, where he is now the abbot.
