Meditation helps us to focus, calm down, become aware, and begin to see things as they are. A properly trained mind is one ready for Awakening.
Three consecutive days of Daylong Meditation Retreats are offered in early September. Each day consists of 10 sitting/walking sessions; each session is around 40 minutes. Anyone wanting to improve his/her meditation practice can join; must attend 4 or more sessions each day. Meals will be provided, but no overnight stay.
All participants are required to observe silence. Prior practice in meditation or in our Zen classes is recommended.
There is no charge for participation; voluntary donations (dana) are welcome. Spaces are limited; registration is required . Call the Zen Center for more detailed information.
