Each class meeting is for two hours, consisting of meditation practice in the first hour, and a lecture on Buddhist principles in the second hour. The English classes are taught by Ven. Jian-Hu, the abbot of the Zen Center.
Zen is a state of mind, a mind of calmness, stability, and clarity. Meditation helps us to focus, calm down, become aware, and begin to see things as they are.
